Bremer Water Monitoring Project

This project commenced in 1999 as a longitudinal benchmarking project.  The water monitoring project collected samples from twenty-five sites around the catchment on a monthly basis.  The collection sites represented upstream and downstream conditions in the major subcatchments.  The project was suspended in 2003 due to drought conditions around the catchment.  The project recommenced in 2004 and continued until mid 2005 due to lack of funding.  The  project was possible due to the assistance of landholders and community members supplying regular samples for testing.  The full report summarising monitoring in the 2004/05 period is here.   For enquiries, contact Liz Tilbrook  - (07) 3202 1577.
